QUALIFICATIONS:

• MUST HAVE at least 3 years’ experience working in an Offset and Digital Print environment.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat
• Proficient in QuarkXPress
• Experience with Printect Cockpit
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Must have a keen eye for color and details. Understand Pantone colors and color matching
• Must be highly organized and be able to handle multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Self-starter able to work independently when needed
• Printing background a must including understanding of offset lithography and bindery techniques

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design various marketing materials as requested by clients
• Responsible for recreating, editing and typesetting files
• Preflight and prepare artwork for various printing executions
• Prepare electronic and/or hardcopy proofs for content accuracy & color approval
• Manage the setup of artwork to be sent to external vendors for production
• Handle the plate imaging processor
• Responsible for archiving all completed orders and updating the filing system
• Must be able to handle the production and mounting of various sized posters to foam core and the assembly of vinyl banners
