Description:

Duties

Provides support to the Marketing and Publicity department in the form of graphic design to be used in the implementation of promotions for service and functions. Designs and prints layouts department of flyers, posters, calendars, brochures, newsletters, etc. Responsible for design and updates of services webpage as deemed necessary. Responsible for proofreading materials prior to publication. Executes various types of illustration and graphic art in high-speed environment through use of desktop publishing software. Works closely with activity managers to design and implement promotions within the facility and on base. Functions as a customer service representative, meeting with potential customers, monitoring publicity work orders. Works directly under the Marketing Director.

Qualifying Experience:
Must be proficient in desktop publishing and word processing software. adobe design suite, Coreldraw, Pagemaker, and Microsoft office suite skills are preferred. Web design and publication experience is preferred. Any experience realted to the above duties is desirable. This is a position of trust. Must satisfactorily complete the National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI)

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
