Graphic Design Coordinator

Description:

Major Responsibilities:

• Design, schedule, and maintain digital content to include the NSLM website, weekly e-blasts, social media (Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube), and online calendar posts
• Design a three-time-per-year magazine and the annual report
• Coordinate with the Development department to create events, fundraising, and membership materials
• Coordinate with the Curatorial department to design and produce support materials including academic catalogues and didactics
• Coordinate with the Education and Marketing Director to design and produce support materials including program branding and promotion, family guides, and kids’ activities
• Create printed promotional materials such as outdoor banners, invitations, mailers, rack cards, and brochures
• Create timelines and independently manage projects from concept until inception
• Work with vendors, from estimates to completion of design projects
• Package and distribute press releases in conjunction with the Education and Marketing Director
• Maintain media contracts, adhere to advertising schedules, and design layouts in conjunction with Education and Marketing Director

Skills Requirements:

• Must be highly adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to create timelines, set schedules, and meet deadlines independently
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office
• Meta/Facebook Business Suite
• Basic knowledge of photography and video production
• Ability to adapt to the needs of the position
• WordPress, HTML, and CSS (skills are a plus)
• Google Analytics (experience is a plus)

Other requirements:

• 2 years of experience in a related field
• Project management experience
• Strong graphic design skills
