Graphic Design

Description:

We seek to hire a positive, energetic, and self-motivated graphic designer with experience in print design and production layout. This individual must have a strong understanding of the print industry and be highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite. This position would include designing custom printed materials to meet customers' demands as well as preparing customer supplied files for print production.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepress all customer supplied files to ensure they are ready for production; checking color, size, bleed, and other elements to ensure output is constant and customer expectations are met.
• Communicate with customers if supplied files do not meet production standards.
• Interrupt and execute design changes and updates to customer files as needed.
• Meet with customers on new design projects and recommend products to best serve each customer needs.
• Execute new designs and design changes in a timely manner.
• Proof customers on all changes through email.
• Update customer portals on website as needed.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Back up customer service and other departments as needed.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest printing and design technologies and materials by networking with other professionals, vendors, and attending workshops.
• Contribute to high-level discussions about department operations and growth with manager.
• Take initiative to go above & beyond the job description for the betterment of the company.
