Description:
In this role, you will:
- Assist in the development of PA Program guidance documents and tools when needed.
- Create/provide training aids, instructor guides, student manuals, and web-based training for PA course instruction.
- Provide technical, technical editing, graphic development, and formatting for PA documents.
In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $62,400.00 to $218,400.00; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 1 year minimun of prior Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance (PA) experience or related government agency experience
- A Bachelor's Degree or higher (Will accept High School Diploma with years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)
- Experience with Graphics creation
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Recovery arena
- An Adult learning background and experience
- 1-2 years of experience providing training support
- The ability to obtain and maintain FEMA Public Trust
- A United States Citizenship
- The ability to maintain FEMA specific trainings
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills, excellent written and oral communication skills
- The ability to deploy to any location in zone 2 with a 24–48-hour notice after Task Order Award
- Zone 2 includes Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin, and Wyoming
- The ability to go on 6–12-month deployments at a minimum
- Experience and comfortability using a Smart Phone
- The ability to work independently, in a team environment and under stressful conditions with tight deadlines
