Description:

DAILY AND WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Design graphics for a variety of delivery systems, including computer-based training and mobile devices
  • Create high-quality 2D graphics using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Animate
  • Develop design concepts and solutions that meet client needs
  • Perform work without appreciable direction
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including designers, writers, and project managers
  • Manage and prioritize tasks as necessary to meet deadlines
  • Ensure that all designs meet established design standards and guidelines
  • Develop visual concepts for interactive multimedia courseware and compose treatment
  • Provide constructive feedback during design reviews
  • Work with Instructional Designers and Programmers in the development of interactive multimedia courseware
  • Keep abreast of latest graphics technology and software tools
  • Other duties and projects as assigned and needed

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • AA/AS degree and 5 years of experience in related field. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree, if applicable and or allowed under assigned contract.
  • At least 5 years’ experience creating 2D graphics using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Animate
  • Strong understanding of design principles and digital illustrations
  • Develop associated media products needed to support courseware products; could include graphics, animation, audio, digital video, still images, etc.
  • Expertise in developing graphics for technology-delivered instruction (e.g., web-based training, mobile devices)
  • Ability to offer solutions to Instructional Designers and conceptualize and produce quality graphics based on script/storyboards
  • Experience working with clients and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to function effectively and efficiently in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take constructive feedback
  • Due to the nature of the work at Carley, this position requires U.S. citizenship - REQUIRED.
