Description:
The Website Designer & Graphic Artist will design web pages and social media elements, creating graphics, illustrations, logos, print layouts, and photography. Experience with designing Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn ads is a huge bonus.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Work with a team to determine client needs and project specifications
- Work within timelines and deadlines for project completion dates
- Use graphic design skills and knowledge to meet and exceed client objectives
- Modify and edit designs
- Take and edit photos
- Copywrite and edit content for websites and posts
- Provide a positive client experience
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role required
- Understanding of how to design for various mediums including web and print
- Strong knowledge of WordPress and an understanding of best practices
- Strong knowledge of graphic design terminology, design standards, and esthetic design concepts preferred
- Experience using graphic design programs including Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator, Adobe Spark, etc.
- Proficient in web languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
- Strong copywriting skills
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- BS degree in Marketing or comparable job experience.
