Duties 

What to Expect

  • Responsible for designing format and layout, creating professional signs, posters, banners, coupons, tickets, certificates, decorative artwork, web and social media elements, using computer design programs, in an effort to increase sales and promote program participation.
  • Provides promotional materials for theme parties, holiday observances, and other special events.
  • Plans and executes the development of graphic designs, layouts and exhibits in coordination with the presentation of printed and/or visual media.
  • Works with managers/supervisors and Marketing Specialists concerning special events, ensuring appropriate use of various printed and electronic media including flyers, posters, marquees, web elements, and other commonly used visual media.
  • Assists Marketing Specialists in production of marketing materials. May schedule placement of content on digital media platforms as needed.
  • This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

  • Must have three years experience that demonstrates knowledge and application of graphic design and layout, printing procedures, utilizing but not limited to; Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Canva, and Acrobat.
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Graphic Design, or closely related field may be substituted for experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
