Graphic And Visual Designer

Description:

Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Graphic and Visual Designer (designer) will provide hands-on creative design consulting and production of high-quality marketing and communications collateral for Knight Campus units and leadership. The designer requires knowledge and facility with industry-standard design software; familiarity with interactive and digital media; video and photography capabilities; the ability to maintain visual identity and branding standards; experience with layout, composition-press, and printing processes; and familiarity with display and exhibit preparation. Knowledge of social media platforms and effective visual effects is required. The ability to understand proper use of the English language and communicate verbally and in writing with colleagues to anticipate needs, recommend appropriate deliverables, and engage as a communication partner are essential skills. The designer will have the ability to synthesize complex information into effective visual assets and short text captions. This position interacts with Knight Campus leadership, faculty, students, and administrative partners. This position involves assignments that are time-sensitive and can occur throughout the week, including weekends.

Minimum Requirements

• 4+ Years of Graphic Design experience OR
• Associates Degree + 3 years of Graphic Design experience OR
• Bachelors Degree + 2 years of Graphic Design experience
