Graduate Endodontics Program Director

West Virginia University School of Dentistry is seeking applications for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant / Associate or Full Professor level as Director of the Advanced Education Program in Endodontics.

Primary responsibilities will be to administer the twenty-six-month postdoctoral program in Endodontics, which includes three first year and three second year post-doctoral graduate students. The Director will coordinate and administer all academic, clinical and research responsibilities that lead successful candidates to both a certificate in Endodontics and a Master of Science (M.S.) degree. This multi-faceted position involves direct clinical supervision as well as conducting extensive reviews of both current and historical literature, evaluation of completed post-doctoral cases and coordination of academic programs with all departments in the School of Dentistry and the Health Sciences Center. In addition, the Director will assist the Chairman of the Department by providing instruction to predoctoral students, including didactic and clinical participation at all levels. Both participation in research and pursuit of personal development within the School of Dentistry are required of all faculty members.
