Global Cybersecurity Business Development Manager

 

Description:

  • Perform market studies and competitor analysis to help set strategic direction for the company's cybersecurity solutions
  • Stay current on cybersecurity industry trends and developments, specifically within the ICS space
  • Continually develop a strong understanding of the markets served, complemented by increasing your knowledge around cybersecurity processes, products, and regulatory obligations globally to set the overall cybersecurity strategy for the business
  • Represent the company in relevant ICS cybersecurity and industry working groups
  • Develop a cybersecurity product roadmap and work with product development to facilitate bringing new cybersecurity products and/or cyber product features to market
  • Develop solution messaging for our cybersecurity offerings to address the pains and desires of the organization globally
  • Work with a specialized team to develop product literature, presentations, and other media to support cybersecurity promotions and integrated marketing campaigns
  • Identify, prepare for, and attend trade events that promote Emerson’s cybersecurity solutions
  • Act as the evangelist for the company's Cybersecurity Solutions, for both customers and market peers
  • Identify world area, cybersecurity orders targets, and support sales teams as needed to achieve/ exceed targets, drive, track, and report on associated objectives.
  • Coordinate and drive the sales force as needed to promote our cybersecurity solutions, including acting as a subject matter expert to deliver customer presentations
  • Act as the lead for the Ovation Cyber Emergency Response Team (CERT) to help facilitate the intake of potential vulnerabilities, enable review, and coordinate notifications
  • Monitor threat intelligence sources for impactful information that is valuable to communicate across the organization
  • Demonstrate ownership, high energy, and drive to achieve the desired results.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Product Marketing, Business Development, Project Engineering, Lifecycle Services, Product Development, or other relevant areas
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%, with occasional international travel
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to understand and communicate as needed on threat intelligence, cybersecurity news and events, new market trends, and competitor analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate at a detailed level effectively.
  • Ability to multi-task and be able to prioritize, and balance many activities to adjust quickly in a dynamic environment
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to develop programs to grow the business globally
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours to accommodate priority interrupts, specifically around understanding and reporting on breaking cyber news events
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
