General Dentist

Description:

Provides Dental services of scope, quality, and quantity consistent with the lHS, Service Unit and Dental Service policies to include operative dentistry, oral diagnosis, periodontics, oral surgery, pedodontics, endodontics, Oral medicine, geriatric dentistry and oral Health Prevention.

The contractor will also prepare treatment plans for patients including assessment of the problem, type of oral hygiene care required, nutrition assessment and counseling, restorative and rehabilitative care possible with available resources: sequence appointments needed to complete the treatment plan. Contractor will also make recommendations to patients concerning optimum dental care so that the patient can make an informed decision regarding the needed level of care. There are 3 Full time Dentist currently on staff for support.

Immunizations:

Immunity to Rubella, Mumps, Measles.

Immunity to Hepatitis A and B.

History of chicken pox disease or positive titer.

Tetanus Diphtheria (TD) within the last 5 years.

Documentation of receiving a TB Mantoux skin test (PPD) within the past 12 months with documentation of follow-up for a positive test.

A signed declination of the Hepatitis B vaccination series will be accepted.
