Gas Engineering

Description:

Performs focused and random independent audits per the Gas Enhanced QA/QC Plan of construction and maintenance related activities related to safety, quality and productivity and assure that operating procedures, materials, policies and procedures are all aligned to prevent future gas safety and quality compliance issues. Interfaces with construction workforce, public and regulatory agencies as required. Prepares and communicates reports for various activities in the department. Participates in team meetings to review findings and corrective actions.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience Required:
 

• Minimum 5 years of gas distribution & operations experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Gas Industry Certifications preferred.
• Operator Qualifications- relevant to role.
• Demonstrated understanding of gas utility operations and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of Gas Engineering, Construction and Maintenance standards in accordance with regulatory requirements
