Full Stack Engineer

Description:

Lighthouse Technology Services is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for a 6+ month hybrid contract in Buffalo, NY. This role requires expertise in .NET Core, Oracle/SQL, front-end technologies, and Kubernetes/OpenShift within a microservices architecture. The engineer will work on backend API development, front-end components, and application deployment, collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Backend Development & API Management

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend APIs using .NET Core.

• Design and implement high-performance database queries with Oracle/SQL.

• Optimize database interactions, including stored procedures and query performance tuning.

2. Front-End Development

• Build and maintain responsive front-end components using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end components.

3. Microservices & Deployment

• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications in Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.

• Maintain and enhance microservices architecture for scalability and performance.

4. Security & Authentication

• Implement security best practices, particularly in Identity and Access Management (IAM) projects.

5. Collaboration & Agile Workflow

• Work closely with Business Analysts and Scrum Teams to define technical and product requirements.

• Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively.

• Contribute to high coding standards and best practices in software development.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer or in a similar role.

• Strong proficiency in .NET Core for backend API development.

• Expertise in Oracle/SQL databases, including stored procedures and performance optimization.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift for deploying and managing applications.

• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate in cross-functional teams.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay Rate:

💰 $60-$75 per hour (W2 contract position)
