We specialize in providing our clients with a tailored design experience to fit their needs and fulfill their vision.As we continue to grow, Kitchen Envy Inc. is seeking a freelance Residential Interiors AutoCAD Drafter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed drawings of residential interiors, such as kitchen and bathroom designs, using AutoCAD software.The ideal candidate can:
- Create accurate and detailed 2D and 3D drawings of residential interiors, with a focus on kitchen and bathroom designs [cabinets and tile]
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure drawings meet project specifications and deadlines
- Review and make necessary revisions to existing drawings based on client and/or design team feedback
- Produce clear and concise documentation for design, permit and construction purposes
- Produce clear and concise tile layouts for installation purposes
- Ensure compliance with company standards, county and state codes and best practices for drafting and design
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, software updates, and other relevant developments to improve drafting processes
The ideal candidate posses the following qualifications:
- Eligible to work in the US.
- Local to the greater Jacksonville, FL area
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or equal experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential interiors drafting using AutoCAD software
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D drafting, modeling, and rendering using AutoCAD software
- Familiarity with building codes and standards for residential interiors
- Experience creating tile layouts showcasing pattern repeat
- Experience transcribing a different individuals field measurements to render
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to follow document hand-off procedures
