Description:
We are looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst who will direct the financial affairs of the Business Unit and prepares financial analyses of operations, including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules, for the guidance of management. The Senior FP&A Analyst is responsible for the Business Units financial plans and policies, its accounting practices, the maintenance of its fiscal records, and the preparation of financial reports. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the Business Unit’s financial data, and provide reporting and support to management to aide in the successful operation of the business.
Primary Job Duties:
- Development, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of statistical and accounting information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the organization.
- Prepares monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close for assigned business division including managing and calculating monthly COGS accruals, rebate accruals, data correction and cleansing, reconciliations, expense review and recognition, and other related accounting items.
- Assist Business Unit VP with developing objectives and policies for the Business Unit and prepares reports that outline the financial position in the areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and future operations.
- Coordinates and directs the preparation of the annual budget (AOP) and monthly financial forecasts, institutes and maintains other planning and control procedures, and analyzes and reports variances.
- Establishes major financial objectives and policies for the Business Unit and prepares reports that outlines the financial performance in the areas of asset utilization (inventory turns, financial utilization, EVA, etc.) and other efficiency & productivity measures (i.e. AHR%, On Yard%, etc.).
- Furnishes internal reports, revises and updates reports to be more useful and efficient and furnishes external reports as necessary. Includes the presentation and discussion of financial data on a monthly or quarterly basis to BU Management and/or Leadership.
