Forklift Technician

Description:

Position Description: Inspect and test equipment at time intervals, usage, breakdown, or malfunction.

-Disassemble, inspect, and replace worn or broken parts.

-Test drive repaired equipment before turning it over to operators.

-Change batteries and clean battery connectors.

-Order repair parts from the store department or designated outside suppliers.

Position Requirements:

Must know about minor forklift equipment repair and maintenance.

Knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety protocols.

Must be able to lift and pull up to 50 lbs.

Operate a two-way radio and telephone.
