Description:

Duties

  • Ensures that financial requirements, policies, and procedures in documenting fund reservations and obligations related to labor processing are within regulations and laws.
  • Serves as District's primary POC for DCPS, and acts as the primary liaison between serviced employees, CPAC and the CPOC and DFAS staffs.
  • Responsible for Payroll Chief Financial Officer (CFO) issues. Assists accountants with other CFO Corrective Action Plans (CAP) and Validation Reporting for each FY. Includes accruals, payroll and cost sharing.
  • Applies a variety of management principles and techniques to include interviews, research of records, reviewing mission and functions, manpower requirements and reviews of regulations and directives.
  • Develops recommendations to existing policies, procedures, work methods or operations or functions to senior managers and the commander.
  • Acts as Resource Management lead for coordinating and implementing approved reorganizations and payroll related personnel issues.
  • Services as liaison between Human Resources and the staff pertaining to reorganization, organization structuring and personnel issues pertaining to payroll.
  • Monitors, coordinates and tracks all ongoing and projected personnel actions as it relates to payroll and continuously apprises management of status.
