Financial Management Analyst

Duties

• Reviews expenditures to ensure they are legal, proper, correct, within the local operating budget, and in accordance with the appropriate laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Performs special studies, analysis, and/or audits to identify accounting, budget, and manpower deficiencies.
• Reviews transactions for accuracy and legal compliance in a financial database, and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) audits.
• Prepares briefings to summarize financial issues and/or impact of policy changes.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• The duties of this position require travel up to approximately 10% of the time.
• THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 2 Certified position. Required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program. This certification requirement is a condition of employment.
