Financial Controller

Description:

Venteon Finance is currently seeking a Controller for an established professional services firm in the metro Detroit area. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this position is responsible for all financial operations of the firm including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and providing analysis.

Requirements of the Controller

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Master's degree preferred
• 10 years of experience in Accounting/Finance; 5 plus years at a manager level
• Proficiency in GAAP Standards
• Proactive self-starter who can accomplish company objectives, solve problems and be a strategic partner
• Strong communication skills.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
