Financial Analyst

Description:

The Financial Analyst II is responsible for supporting day-to-day FP&A activities within the AbbVie Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control organization.

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this role plays a crucial part in financial operations at the site level.

Responsibilities:

Track operational spend, headcount, and manage general accounting activities daily.

Assist in month-end processes including schedule creation, reconciliations, and journal entry support.

Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive operational cost-saving initiatives and provide valuable insights.

Support Finance leadership in key reporting cycles such as Latest Best Estimate, Plan Update, Long Range Plan, and Annual Plan.

Develop and implement dashboards and reports essential for business continuity.

Provide ad hoc support by creating reports and dashboards for the AbbVie Biologics Research Drive Manufacturing, Engineering, and Contracting business.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field required.

Minimum of 4+ years of finance experience, preferably within a large organization.

Strong proficiency in Excel and other financial software/tools.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive deliverables in a complex organizational structure.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of responding quickly to changing business needs.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and build strong business partnerships.
