Description:
- Providing remittance and correction information to servicer
- Monitoring and analysis of pooled loans to determine non-compliance, communication of information to investors
- Evaluate servicer performance to ensure compliance with stated agreements
- Participates in system enhancements by attending user group and testing.
- Identify and communicate processing exceptions that are relevant to similar series across individual portfolios.
- Incumbents must maintain a working knowledge of their area of expertise, including Collateral, Securities, Default or Trust Administration.
- May train junior level staff and review junior staff processing and reconciliations.
- May propose recommendations and implement automated solutions on an ongoing basis
Summary
- Candidates will be responsible for data entry, accounting, and analyses of pooled loan data from many different mortgage servicers.
- Candidates can expect to be using multiple database systems including Microsoft Excel regularly to ensure that any variance in data is identified and accounted for.
- Research and interpret all controlling legal documents as issues arise with collateral or bond payments.
- Candidates will be working with Collateral, Securities, Default and Trust Administration.
- The environment is extremely team oriented and deadline driven as analyses must be complete at certain points during the month which will require overtime

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (Formulas, Pivot Tables, V Look Up, and more)
- Bachelors degree in Math, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Business or related
- Prefer 1+ year in Financial Services (Including internship exp.)
