Summary
Responsible for the activities related to preparation and analysis of the university’s expenses and revenues planning, compiling data, preparing and emitting statistical reports for the comparison between the current situation and budgeted forecast.
Example of Duties
- Compiles and reviews the budgets for departments, taking into consideration actual performance, previous expenditures, and estimated expenses and income.
- Maintains accurate spending records and establishes measures for budgetary control.
- Compiles and updates statistical data for various financial reports.
- Counsels departments on preparing budgets based on actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, expense reports, and other factors.
- Researches to find answers to questions or problems regarding capital projects, department accounts, and budget analysis.
