Description:
McKesson is seeking a Finance Manager of FP&A to lead financial planning and analysis responsibilities and support our joint venture with Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI) and Genospace. The Finance Manger will lead month-end close and forecast activities, annual budgeting, long-range planning, business case management and assist in go to market strategy. This role will also assist with various departments to ensure the business is fully integrated. The Finance Manager is a trusted business partner to the leadership team who can leverage resources across the organization to produce actionable insight for strategic decision making.
Position Description
- Monthly close and forecasting including production of management reports and variance analysis to provide insight on the results
- Development of the annual budget and long-term planning
- Business case management and tracking
- Work with key partners to understand market dynamics and build financial models and projection to help inform go to market strategy
- Build relationships and influence key stakeholders and decision makers
- Ability to generate business insight from large datasets
- Present monthly variance to budge/forecast to FP&A consolidation team
- Support special projects, including process improvement, system enhancement, ad-hoc analysis, business initiatives
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
3-5+ years accounting, finance, finance analytics or similar experience
Critical Skills
- Strong financial acumen
- Strong data analytical, modeling and quantitative skills with ability to interpret data and provide recommendations
- Advance MS Excel and PowerPoint knowledge
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines; self-motivated with a sense of urgency
- Effective business partnership with the ability to influence decision makers
- Ability to lead and balance multiple projects in various stages of completion
- Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and Sarbanes Oxley principles
Additional Knowledge & Skills
- Experience with SAP, BX COPA, BPC, SQL is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge working with multiple systems
- Must be accurate, detailed and organized
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Adaptable, strong team player with ability to work with all functional areas
- Ability to deal with different levels of seniority in the organization inside and outside of FP&A
