Description:

The Mgr. M&A will play a key role in the review of potential acquisition targets thru due diligence reviews and owns the modeling and the development of a 5-to-10-year Profit and Loss forecast and cash flow. This role will work closely with other cross-functional teams to identify one-time and future costs for their inclusion in the Financials.

This role will interact closely with other members of the finance integration team, controllership, financial data systems (FDS), global business services (GBS), tax, FP&A, and internal and external audit teams by sharing information on targets and gathering due diligence findings.

The Manager, M&A, will be part of an M&A Finance Due Diligence and Integration. The holder might need to support some financial integration for the business unit into the Hershey business model

Summary of major duties:

Due Diligence Financial Modelling:

• Model five-year P&L with inputs from cross-functional areas and compare vs. forecast and impact to the company.
• Manage project updates and communication within the organization in cross-functional meetings.
• Support HR in the interim and future state operating model.
• Perform a detailed summary of Proforma statements and EBITDA adjustments by the seller.

Due Diligence Finance reports:

• Participate in M&A target financial reviews.
• Assist in financial reviews of potential target companies related to data room review of Profit and loss, Balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze target company historical data to identify historical and projected trends and support with diligence.
• Collaborate with all finance functions and consolidate the Due Diligence Financial Report.

Adhoc:

• Support the M&A team with financial analysis related to assets pre-due diligence.

Education/Certifications: bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; MBA or equivalent marketplace experience preferred.

Experience:

• 5 – 7 years’ progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial field
• CPG and/or other consumer-facing products experience preferred.
• M&A Experience preferred.
