Field Services Trainer

The ALLO Field Services Trainers are a learner-focused group of trainers who are dedicated to delivering effective training to both new hires and existing teammates. Trainers understand the importance of learning styles and use multiple teaching methods in the classroom. ALLO Field Service Trainers will work closely with Leadership and Subject Matter Experts in their assigned content areas to stay current with procedures and processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Commit to Performance Based Organization (PBO) & Easy To Do Business With (ETDBW) philosophy.

  • Identify trends and problems. Contribute to Continuous Process Improvement. Plan, organize & implement special training or document projects as required. Communicate with other trainers throughout ALLO.

  • Document and provide training when new policies, procedures or regulations are implemented.

  • Train new and existing teammates and serve as their resource on core processes. Provide one on one training when necessary.

  • Review and assess employees’ progress using learning materials and inform supervisors of progress.

  • Develop department’s member’s skills and aiding in the process of career planning.

  • Maintain documentation of processes, procedures and regulations on intranet.

  • Provide training in many different environments including but not limited to; attics, crawlspaces, basements, and outside during all kinds of weather. Serve as liaison to company-wide training department and safety department.

  • Work with managers, supervisors, analysts, and team leads regarding technical training objectives.

  • Review and ascertain quality standards on department training and assessment materials.

  • Schedule, lead, and monitor new employee and skills training classes. Conducts training needs assessment by collecting information pertaining to work procedures, workflow, and reports, understanding job-specific functions and tasks.

  • Maintains hassle free service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

  • Maintains a positive open demeanor, encourages different points of view.

  • Moves training team forward through change, provides timely information, communicates issues with team leads or supervisor.

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Associates degree or 2-4 years of equivalent work experience preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 years telecommunication experience preferred

  • Training and course development experience preferred
