Description:
The Facilities Maintenance role is responsible for performing heavy cleaning duties associated with Fire Prevention, Building Aesthetics, and NSF preparation and sustainment.
Duties And Responsibilities
The primary job duties and responsibilities are:
- Completes Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Fire Prevention Checklist Items. (80% of the first 6 months 50% going forward)
- Performs cleaning of facility machines (internal and external), electrical cabinets and pumps
- Conducts floor maintenance and cleaning
- Maintains pit to reduce stock build-up for fire prevention and efficacy
- Organizes and audits outside building condition (bone yard management)
- Manages and completes select painting assignments and minor repair (touch-ups)
- Completes documentation related to the task at hand
- Maintains excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area
- Maintains effective communication with operators and plant supervision
- Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards
- Maintains excellent safety record
- Maintains excellent attendance record
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Experience
Experience Required
- At least one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment; including successful completion of jobs or similar activities.
- Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures.
Skills
