Executive Protection Agent

 

Description:

The Executive Protection Agent will provide for the welfare, physical protection, and security of one high end, highly visible CEO by performing armed or unarmed executive protection missions. The position will be based in Santa Clara, CA. The position will entail primarily Bay Area coverage with occasional domestic travel as required (10%). The schedule is a highly desirable 4 on/4 off at $57/hr, plus OT. Additional compensation includes CA missed meals breaks each shift

Responsibilities

  • Provide close protection and other security-related duties for the client during domestic or international assignments
  • Lead, manage, and coordinate executive security team members
  • Perform travel advances to review departures, arrivals, movements, routes, emergency actions as well as ascertain threat vulnerabilities on all movements and travel
  • Securely transport the client or family members to events and appointments
  • Effectively manage corporate clients or family members to ensure safety and security precautions are maintained
  • Respond to emergencies and perform adequate medical first aid operations, as needed
  • Deescalate tense situations or individuals that arise during the conduct of a mission
  • Communicate vulnerabilities or safety concerns in a timely manner
  • Effectively communicate with client and management through incident reports, shift logs, pattern of life reports, medical treatment reports, and other administrative requirements
  • Assist with protection schedules and team assignments
  • Operate and maintain protective, operational, and communications equipment
  • Promptly identify and escalate deficiencies/failures
  • Prepare mission plans and submit all required reporting, to include expense and closing reports, in a timely manner
  • All other duties, as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of executive protection experience including advance planning, surveillance and counter surveillance operations and security driving
  • California BSIS Security Guard Permit, Exposed Firearms Permit and an active California Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW)
  • Defensive driving tactics training/experience
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
  • Good communication skills in a second language preferred but not required
  • Must have applicable state and local license/permits to carry a concealed firearm
  • International experience preferred
  • Former LE and can CCW domestically under HR 218 preferred
  • Basic medical first aid training, AED, CPR certifications preferred
  • International executive protection experience preferred
