Description:
CCMC, a leading community management company specializing in large-scale communities, is seeking an Executive Director to lead and oversee all aspects of community operations. The role involves strategic leadership, financial oversight, community engagement, and operational management to enhance the homeowner experience while ensuring adherence to governing policies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Community Leadership & Strategic Oversight:
- Provide leadership, administration, and technical oversight for the community, staff, and service contractors.
- Act as an advisor to the Board and volunteer committees on policies and procedures.
- Drive long-range planning, annual goal setting, and execution of board-approved projects.
- Foster relationships with developers, builders, commercial parcels, schools, and municipal departments.
2. Financial & Operational Management:
- Manage annual budgets, reserve studies, and variance reports.
- Ensure adherence to state laws, community guidelines, and CCMC’s management contract.
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, training, and mentoring of community employees.
- Lead community engagement initiatives to create a strong sense of belonging among residents.
3. Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with community association laws and governing documents.
- Oversee adherence to local and national community management regulations.
- Maintain community infrastructure and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- PCAM certification (Professional Community Association Manager) required.
- 7+ years of on-site, large-scale community association management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent in business, public administration, or related field).
- Strong financial and operational management experience.
- Ability to build relationships with residents, board members, and community partners.
- Effective leadership, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of laws governing community associations and HOA operations (preferred).
- CAM license required upon hire in Nevada, Florida, and Georgia (within 90 days in all other states).
- Proficient in Windows-based computer systems.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Physical Requirements:
- Mobility: Ability to walk long distances across community grounds.
- Lifting & Carrying: Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Extended Sitting or Standing: During meetings and events.
- Manual Dexterity: Comfortable using computers and mobile devices.
- Driving: Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance.
