Description:

The Brickyard Collaborative, the North Shore’s Makerspace is looking for an Executive Director.
The Brickyard Collaborative was founded 7 years ago and has grown from simply an idea to a 10,000 square foot facility with nearly a million dollars of tools and resources. We are running marginally in the black, but we have no salaried positions. We need the right person to lead the vision to the next phase, including finding funding for our Executive Director and various Operations positions.
This will require a talent for soliciting donations, working with a Board to attract support, finding grants to help cover operations and salaries, as well as the usual tasks of keeping the place running and mapping out our future (which includes a 10-year capital fund to acquire a building of our own).

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Liberal Arts
Required Experience:
7+ years experience overseeing medium- to large-scale Makerspace environment as well as experience with supervising renovation and construction projects and managing budgets.
