Description:
As an Events Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of events and activities aimed at enhancing the overall experience for our members and guests. You will play a pivotal role in creating memorable moments, providing top-level hospitality, and fostering a sense of community within our establishment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Event Planning | Collaborate with the management team to conceptualize, plan, and coordinate various events, including tournaments, social mixers, themed nights, and special promotions.
2. Logistics Management | Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including venue details, scheduling, vendor coordination, equipment rentals, and budget management to ensure seamless execution.
3. Promotion and Marketing | Develop comprehensive marketing strategies to promote upcoming events, utilizing various channels such as social media, email newsletters, and traditional advertising methods to maximize attendance and engagement.
4. Outreach and Community Engagement | Proactively engage with local pickleball communities, clubs, and organizations to foster partnerships and collaborations. Organize outreach events, clinics, and demonstrations to attract new players and expand our network within the pickleball community.
5. Customer Engagement | Interact with members and guests to understand their preferences and interests, soliciting feedback to continually improve the quality and variety of events offered.
6. Staff Supervision | Recruit, train, and supervise event staff, ensuring they are well-prepared and capable of delivering exceptional service during events.
7. Compliance and Safety | Ensure that all events comply with relevant regulations and safety standards, maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for participants and attendees.
8. Post-Event Evaluation | Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of each event, gathering feedback from attendees and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
