Ev Parts Procurement Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an EV Technical Automotive Procurement Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing Accounts Payable (AP) functions while also serving as our primary Automotive Buyer, overseeing and executing the procurement process for EV-related equipment and components.

Responsibilities:

- Utilize AP software such as Oracle, Netsuite, or Quickbooks to manage AP summaries, reports, and basic clerk work efficiently.

- Handle all aspects of Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, payment verification, and reconciliation.

- Identify and onboard new suppliers for EV equipment, negotiate favorable terms and contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and develop strategic sourcing plans.

- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities.

- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and vendor relationships.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Automotive Buying and AP management, preferably within the EV or automotive industry.

- Proficiency in AP software (Oracle, Netsuite, Quickbooks) and MS Office Suite.

- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to drive cost savings and optimize supplier relationships.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of EV technology and automotive components is a plus.
