We’re looking for a talented WA 02 Residential Electrical Journeyman/ Estimator to join our team, taking on a dual role that combines field and office work. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership position with room for growth and personal development. While estimating is a preferred skill, it is not a required skill to apply. We are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

This position offers a variety of tasks, including electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair in residential settings, as well as estimating and project management. You will also be responsible for mentoring and training an apprentice, ensuring they develop the skills needed to succeed in the field. This position requires a balance of technical knowledge, customer service excellence, and leadership ability.

• Perform residential electrical installations, repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Provide accurate and detailed estimates for electrical projects.
• Lead and mentor an apprentice, providing hands-on training and guidance.
• Offer exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients.
• Oversee job site safety and ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes and regulations.
• Utilizing VEI virtual inspections through L&I whenever possible.
• Assist in the planning and execution of electrical projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate with office staff/company owner for scheduling, material requirements, tool requirements, project documentation, and customer follow-ups.
• Handle both office and field duties, including customer consultations, estimate preparation, and work completion.
• Being proactive in helping a company to grow. A rising tide lifts all ships.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Valid WA 02 Residential Journeyman Electrician License.
• Proven experience in residential electrical work with a strong technical understanding.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and develop an apprentice.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong self-management and time management skills
• Knowledge of electrical codes, safety protocols, and local regulations.
