Description:
The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking designer with proven experience bringing live events and experiential activations to life. A deep understanding of the experiential marketing landscape, along with a strong passion for innovative design, is essential for this role. Key candidates will have deep knowledge of the B2B events and extensive knowledge of major tentpoles and industry events like CES, AdWeek, Cannes Lions, SxSW, and Newfronts.
This position reports to the Group Director, Global Brand Design and Experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Creative Development, Design, and Events teams to develop innovative concepts for experiential marketing campaigns that align with business objectives.
- Create detailed renderings, sketches, and visualizations to effectively communicate design ideas to stakeholders and partners (i.e stage design, fly-thrus, large scale environmental design within major tentpole events).
- Conduct research to gather inspiration, identify emerging technologies, and explore new techniques to enhance experiential design strategies.
- Work closely with production and fabrication partners to translate designs into tangible experiences, overseeing the fabrication process.
- Translate products and services into interactive activations and installations that engage the senses.
- Collaborate with external vendors to source materials, props, and technologies required for each project.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Attend project meetings and presentations to provide creative input and address any design-related concerns or challenges.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with fabrication partners, vendors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Participate in on-site installations and provide creative direction to ensure that the final experience matches the intended design vision.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and analyze feedback to continuously improve the effectiveness of our experiential marketing efforts.
- Help grow and educate existing Studio team regarding environmental design.
- Provide accurate and frequent status reporting within Global Brand Studio team.

Qualifications
- Minimum 6+ -8+ years of experience of post-college experience as an Experiential Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in concept development, rendering, and experiential design. Agency, production company, or entertainment company experience preferred.
- Proficiency in design software including Adobe Creative Suite, 3D modeling software (SketchUp, CAD, Rhino, Cinema4D, and/or Vectorworks, etc.) and rendering tools.
- Excellent visual and verbal communication skills to effectively convey design ideas and collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and production partners.
- Great organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and design quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome design and fabrication challenges.
- The ability to accurately scope projects, define requirements, and design to budget
- Willingness to travel and work on-site during installations and events, as required.
