Enterprise Programmer Analyst

 

Description:

University of Louisville Information Technology Services is seeking an Enterprise Programmer Analyst V to serve as a technical programming lead for PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (CS) and other Student applications. The core of this position will be to provide expert level programming and technical direction in relation to the University's enterprise student systems development initiatives. In this position, it is essential that one be able to work with team members and stakeholders on development projects through all phases of the software development lifecycle. (planning, analysis, design, implementation/programming, testing, and�maintenance)� It�is necessary to have a distinguished technical background covering advanced programming/integration techniques and enterprise application systems architecture.�

�Responsibilities

  • Trouble-shoot day-to-day application issues and provide resolutions in a timely manner
  • Review customer requests, providing recommended solutions that meet customer needs and time-frame
  • Provide technical leadership on large, complex activities and projects, and effectively document and communicate requirements and technical information
  • Develop and implement business solutions through custom programming and system integrations
  • Establish an in-depth understanding of customer business processes
  • Research current tools, functionality, and technologies that can enhance the student information systems

Preferred qualifications

  • In depth experience with standard higher education business processes. (i.e. Advising, Enrollment, Bursar, Admissions, etc.)
  • Demonstrated and documented experience as a PeopleSoft developer/analyst
  • In-depth experience using Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Integration Broker, and Application Packages
  • Solid Fluid experience (hands on) including Activity Guides and workflows
  • Experience with creating and supporting APIs/Web Services and 3rd party integrations
  • Recognized for technical expertise and leadership
  • Ability to drive projects independently with minimal supervision or direction
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to cross train team members and enhance the skills of team members
