Description:
In this role, you will Lead the order execution of Engineer to Order drives (LV and MV) by coordinating the completion of Factory/AMC/Panel Shop orders on time, within budget and scope. Oversee all aspects of the execution of Engineer to Order Drives. Sets deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of the assembly. Prepares reports for management regarding the status.

Your responsibilities
- Project management: Manages the execution of LV and MV custom drive orders on time within budget and the defined scope. Coordinates all activities related to executing the delivery of a factory/AMC/Panel Shop scope of supply, by allocating and following up on project tasks to accomplish all milestones.
- Planning and scheduling: Defines all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans.
- Project execution and control: Effectively communicates appropriate information to customers and other stakeholders in a timely manner and to achieve desired understanding
- Stakeholder relations: Effectively communicates appropriate information to customers and other stakeholders in a timely manner and to achieve desired understanding
- Document management: Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation. Controls documentation accuracy and consistency, based on inputs from engineering and production, and procedures agreed with the customer
- Project reviews: Participates in job reviews. Composes reports and updates all required data in Project Control systems and SAP for Management Information and Project Analysis. Communicates progress and control issues to project management team and offers solutions
- Project administrative tasks: Performs regular monthly project administrative task
- Health, safety and environment (HSE): Ensures the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies
Your background
- Bachelor degree (engineering preferred) and 8 years of professional experience in project management OR Associate degree (technical preferred) and 10 years of professional experience in project management OR High school/diploma and 12 years of professional experience in project management required
- Strong organizational and communication skills, proven ability to solve problems creatively required
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
- Travel up to 10% required
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
