Description:
Minimum Qualifications for Engineer Senior:
- Licensure as a professional Civil Engineer with the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience, and Interior Design (AELSLAGID). (If obtaining licensure through Comity, a temporary permit from AELSLAGID must be provided to MnDOT HR prior to starting employment.)
Minimum Qualifications for Engineer 2 Graduate:
- A Bachelor’s degree in civil or construction engineering from an EAC-ABET accredited college/university or equivalent as rated by EAC/NCEES.
- A passing score on the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
- Two (2) years post-graduation civil engineering work.
OR
- A Master’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering from an EAC-ABET accredited college/university or equivalent as rated by EAC/NCEES
- A passing score on the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
- One (1) year of post-graduate civil engineering work.
OR
- Received a passing score on the Minnesota Principals & Practices of Civil Engineering (PE) Exam.
