Essential Roles & Responsibilities:
- Research, develop, recommend, and execute creative strategies to foster Pro Athlete’s DEI goals
- Review current practices and policies in place and work with Human Resources to analyze the extent to which they support or hinder our DEI goals
- Develop and execute a plan to recruit and attract candidates and/or potential employees from diverse backgrounds
- Train leadership and employees on DEI trainings and initiatives
- Stay “in the know” for the latest and greatest trends revolving around organizational DEI efforts
- Develop and execute on the total recruitment process.
- Assist in providing a world class onboarding process for new hires.
- Maintain a talent pipeline of key positions as outlined by department leads
- Oversee Pro Athlete’s community engagement activities as it pertains to our core value, Embrace Stewardship. Be the liaison between the community and Pro Athlete
- Be the lead marketer for Pro Athlete branding. We have marketing covered for our revenue generating platforms, JustBats, JustGloves, JustPaddles, and Routine, but want to market Pro Athlete to attract new talent and for community engagement
- Oversee Pro Athlete’s social media channels.
- Work with the People & Culture team to ensure we are creating company events and perks that attract and retain diverse talent.
- Performs other duties as reasonably assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local equal employment opportunity laws and regulations
- Strong knowledge of DEI best practices and strategies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
To hit a grand slam, you’ll need the following Education and Experience:
- Have 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Full-Cycle Recruiting and DEI experience
