Emergency Department Director

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Emergency Room Nurse Director to join our team in Southern Tennessee. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an ER Director and will be responsible for the planning and management of the Emergency Department. Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the daily operations of the Emergency Department
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and efficient workflows
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care protocols and standards
• Monitor and evaluate departmental performance, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth among staff
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize patient flow and ensure timely and appropriate care
• Stay updated with advances in emergency medicine and implement best practices accordingly

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Emergency Room Director is required
• Current RN license in the state of Tennessee is preferred
• Strong leadership and management skills, with a track record of successfully implementing positive changes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
