Elementary Teacher

Description:

We are seeking a Certified teachers to join our collaborative and passionate team. As an instructional leader, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment, fostering inquiry-based instruction, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

Primary Tasks & Major Activities:

1. Collaborate within a Professional Learning Communities (PLC) setting for curriculum planning and assessment.

2. Implement research-based instructional strategies, focusing on project-based learning and differentiated instruction.

3. Provide meaningful assessments of learning through authentic assessment techniques.

4. Actively participate in district-required professional development opportunities.

5. Foster character building and strong parent/teacher relationships.

6. Contribute to the district and building vision, promoting a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

Educational/Skills/Experience Required:

1. Current Missouri Certification in Early Childhood or Special Education.

2. Strong experience with integrating technology in the classroom.

3. Self-starter with a growth mindset for self and students.

4. Willingness to learn and adapt to new teaching methodologies.

5. Support for the District's Comprehensive School Improvement Plan.
