ABB's Distribution Solutions Division provides utility, industrial and commercial customers with safe, smart and sustainable technologies for the distribution of electricity. With ABB AbilityTM enabled digital solutions at its core, our extensive portfolio includes distribution automation products, switching, limiting, measuring and sensing devices, switchgear, modular substation packages, and related services.

The role reports to the Inside Sales Director and is located in Cary, North Carolina.

Your responsibilities
 

• Inside Sales: create strategic account plans, provide market data, identify new customers
• Product Marketing: participate in planning and forecasting, launch product strategy
• Business Analytics: mine data, analyze, and implement process improvement
• Marketing: develop skills in digital marketing, customer experience, and comms
• Commercial Operations: develop quality customer proposals, understand compliance and legal standards
• Mentoring and networking opportunities
• Personal and professional development programing will be offered to all interns. This programing will include global and local sessions
   

Your background
 

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in the US
• Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or Business/Marketing preferred
• Must be currently authorized to work for ABB in the US
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Ability work in a team environment
