Electrical Supervisor

Responsibilities
 

• Provide compliance oversight and directing planned electrical maintenance activities for plant power distribution systems.
• Oversee and coordinate installation of new or existing components on all projects
• Serve as single point of accountability for plant electrical safety.
• Communicate continually with all levels of personnel from operations to maintenance
• Support the day-to-day operations as an electrical engineering resource to the team to keep the shop running, providing electrical engineering support for systems and equipment
• Provide engineering and consultation services including diagnosis and solutions to difficult operating and maintenance problems including performing root cause analysis
• Write and approve engineering specifications
• Develop, recommend and implement migration paths for obsolete controls and components.
• Supervise and oversee activities of a team of 5 electricians
   

Requirements
 

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing
• Experience with high voltage power systems up to 138 kv
• Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs as well as Visual Basic scripting
• Prior experience managing capital projects
• Supervisory or team lead experience in manufacturing
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E and NFPA 79
