Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Education & Experience: Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with a strong focus on electronic control systems and motor drive systems, plus 3+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Conceptualization & Design: Proven ability to transform conceptual ideas and storyboards into effective electronic schematic diagrams for production and quality control.
- Lab Expertise: Thrive in a lab environment with a strong scientific approach to data collection and validation, ensuring life safety risks are effectively mitigated.
- Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the engineering team to rapidly develop and evaluate prototypes and working articles.
- Quality Assurance: Experience in a QA/QC environment, capable of overseeing and instructing on QA practices.
- Project Management: Self-driven with a proven track record of managing scope and deliverables ahead of schedule and budget.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized with effective electronic recording strategies for task management and communication.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics accurately. Bonus
Qualifications:
- Background in electrical and physical fabrication, especially in robotics, automotive, or machining.
- Experience with CAD/CAM environments and a passion for motor controls.
- Entrepreneurial experience or a strong understanding of the business dynamics involved in bringing a product to market.
- Experience transitioning from first article to full-scale production.
