Electrical And Instrumentation Technician

Description:

Our client, a leading provider of logistics storage and distribution solutions for the chemical, oil/gas, and related industries, is seeking a skilled I&E Technician to join their Texas City team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Instrumentation and Electrical work within a refinery or plant setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical and I/E responsibilities to achieve safety, efficiency, and quality goals.
• Support plant operations by repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment, including pumps, valves, and other mechanical equipment.
• Manage a weekly schedule of personal workload to ensure efficient use of time and maintain productivity.
• Maintain equipment files on plant assets to contribute to the development of the Terminal’s preventive maintenance program.
• Conduct instrumentation calibration.
• Ability to read and understand P&IDs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• TWIC CARD; Possession or ability to obtain.
• Minimum of 3 years of I&E experience (REQUIRED).
• Computer skills and SAP experience (Preferred).
• Experience working with chemicals (HUGE PLUS).
• Overtime availability.
