The Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) is committed to advancing equity and antiracism by reducing disparities in program outcomes and improving access to human services for communities experiencing inequities. To reduce disparities, it is necessary to address social, economic, and political factors that result in systemic inequities within our policies, practices, and procedures. Thus, DCYF staff play an important role in creating the conditions for an equitable human services system.
The eLearning Developer Engagement Specialist will oversee and coordinate the design, development, and implementation of technology-based Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) cultural competency training, related technical assistance, and communication regarding training content for the “Advancing Equity in Child Support” federal demonstration grant.
This position will have the expertise to direct the activity of others to produce eLearning materials and other related products for the federal grant project. This role will research, design, develop, test and maintain relevant and engaging blended training content with a focus on virtual and online learning. It will design instructional content, perform evaluations on content and delivery, and design rollout training plans for child support professionals across the state of Minnesota that will be shared nationwide with other states as a part of the grant project; sharing lessons learned that will be a part of the Advancing Equity in Child Support project toolkit for other child support programs to utilize.
