Description:
Looking for a Manager, Editorial Strategist role with an emphasis on considering brand strategy and editorial strategy together. This is a contract role, it is 4 months to start and is Remote.
Qualifications:
- Develop (retail industry) editorial content strategies to inform editorial calendars, laddering into broader editorial plan and SEO strategy
- Collaborate with SEO strategists, copywriters, and client stakeholders
- Manage editorial production for client’s article hub, including pitching, assigning, writing, and editing articles for retail topics, related product solutions, and keywords, utilizing keyword research for content optimization and topic/headline ideation
- Produce original content such as articles and search-optimized website copy that supports retail content strategy and SEO strategy
- Research retail trends and news, collaborating with internal/external experts, industry influencers, content partners, 3rd party researchers, and other sources, to craft relevant perspectives and insights that will fuel a regular cadence of highly-informed and data-driven content
- Top notch, demonstrated writing and editing skills across a variety of content types and formats
- Experience with content and editorial production (creating briefs, managing editorial calendar/deadlines, handling feedback, project management, etc.)
- Ability to develop content and editorial strategies
- A solid understanding of SEO best practices
- Experience writing for retail industry publications or for retail clients
- Experience writing for luxury brands
