Early Childhood Teaching Assistant

Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required. Child Development Accreditation (CDA) or 12 equivalent college credit hours in Early Childhood, Elementary Education or Early Childhood Special Education. Additional experience may not be used on a one-to-one basis to offset the educational requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities of this position include:

• Teach the children in the classroom using daily interactions and routines.
• Communicate with families in a supportive, professional and respectful manner.
• Apply class guidelines established by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
• The Assistant Facilitator is responsible to perform lead duties in the absence of the Lead Facilitator.
