Description:

Seeking a diligent and skilled Environmental Scientist/Engineer to conduct, assign, and review Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments primarily in the southeastern Georgia and South Carolina areas. Responsibilities include organizing and scheduling Environmental Phase I/II investigations, conducting environmental site investigations and surveys, and preparing permit applications, risk assessments, and technical documents. The role involves managing project requirements by directing field staff, developing written proposals for clients, and evaluating complex laboratory and field data for reporting.

Hard Skills
 

  • Conduct, assign, and review Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments
  • Familiarity with Georgia EPD Regulatory Programs: CERCLA
  • Preparation of permit applications, risk assessments, proposals, and regulatory correspondence
  • Experience with UST closures, Brownfields, industrial sites, Greenfields

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team leader and mentor junior-level scientists/engineers
  • Client-facing experience on/off construction sites
