The Domestic Business Development Representative at The AGL Group allows you to build your own book of business with unlimited clients across the US. As a sales professional, it will be your main responsibility to drive new business and maintain your current business while working with our carrier sales team dedicated to handling all carrier operations needed to service your accounts.

The DBDR will also have the opportunity to be assigned a FT account manager once their book eclipses the necessary margin threshold.

This is a full-time position with uncapped earnings potential for a talented entrepreneurially minded salesperson willing to do what it takes to win. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through a high volume of outreach (Meetings, Calls, Emails, ETC)
  • Following up on inbound leads and updating pipeline in CRM daily
  • Working with marketing team to identify and target desired segments
  • Training AM on how to handle each account’s specific needs when necessary

1) IE quoting, setting appointments, booking trucks, preferred communication style)

  • Reaching established margin targets through the book of business you have brought in and maintained

 

Job Requirements

At least 3 years of sales experience in the Logistics Industry
