Description:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will manage our documentation system and ensure seamless communication regarding document changes. You'll have the chance to dive into New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and help develop assembly instructions, making this a dynamic and engaging position. As our Document Control Specialist, you'll be responsible for taking and editing photos, as well as guiding new products through the production floor to create precise assembly instructions. Key Responsibilities:
Documentation Management:
- Establish and maintain an organized and efficient document control system.
- Oversee the storage, retrieval, and archiving of documents in adherence to organizational standards.
- Coordinate and communicate document changes to ensure updates are accurately reflected and effectively shared with relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop instructions and manage new documentation for novel assemblies.
NPI and Assembly Instructions Development:
- Participate actively in New Product Introduction (NPI) processes, ensuring smooth transitions from design to production.
- Develop and refine assembly instructions to support manufacturing processes, enhancing clarity and efficiency.
Maintaining and Revamping Current Assembly Instructions:
- Capture high-quality photographs of products and assemblies for documentation purposes.
- Edit and enhance images as needed to ensure clarity and visual appeal.
- Work with the operations team on assembly instructions edits and improvements.
- Conduct weekly walkthroughs of upcoming jobs to ensure all documentation and instructions are up-to-date and accurate.
Qualifications & Key Requirements:

- Previous experience in document control or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in circuit board manufacturing is highly preferred or willingness to pursue company supported education.
- Familiarity with industry-specific document control standards and regulations is a plus.
- Enrollment in an AAS program or having an AAS degree preferred.
